Meet Our Baseball Team
Joe Bauer
Coach Joe Bauer brings to the facility almost 30 years of coaching experience at almost all levels. A graduate of Althoff Catholic High School, Joe was an All-Area, All-Metro, and All-State player. He continued his collegiate career at Bradley University, becoming a 3-year letter winner. Joe's coaching career began in 1991 as an assistant coach at Althoff helping to lead the team to their first and only state title. After Althoff, Joe became the Assistant Coach at Belleville Area College (SWIC) where he remained for the next 10 years coaching teams that consistently ranked nationally. Joe coached the Central Illinois Collegiate League in Fairview Heights as well as teams in the St. Louis Metro League. From 2005-2014, Joe was on staff at O'THS as an assistant coach and hitting coordinator. In 2018, Joe became the Head Baseball Coach for OTHS. Coach Bauer provided hitting instruction at Batter's Box Academy and currently coaches in the summer for the St. Louis Pirates.
Scott Seipp
With over 25 years of coaching experience, Coach Scott Seipp's knowledge of the game of baseball knows no limits. Scott played at OTHS from 1991-92 and graduated from Glenbard High School where he was an All-conference player, All-Area, and All State player. After high school, Coach Seipp went on to play at Southern Illinois University-Carbondale. Scott is a veteran coach of the O'Fallon Panther Baseball program with over 20 seasons under his belt. As a strong defensive player, Scott's primary focus as an instructor is on the fundamentals of catching and infield defense. Prior to his tenure at OTHS, Scott coached the O'Fallon-American Legion program for 6 years and led the Aviston-American Legion team in 2005-07 to two district titles. Scott has instructed at the Gators Academy in Edwardsville to help develop young catchers.
Meet Our Softball Team
Ally DeFosset
Born and raised in O’Fallon, Ally attended Fulton Jr. High and OTHS, where she was the varsity-starting pitcher for 3 years. Ally received All-Conference and All-Region honors while at OTHS. Her softball career continued at Jefferson College in Hillsboro, MO, On the softball field, Ally earned All-Conference and All-Region accolades. She continues to hold several pitching records there. After graduating from Jefferson College, Ally transferred to the University of Missouri in St. Louis where she earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology. Ally graduated as the program’s all-time career strikeout leader with 514. along with several honors and accolades including GLVC Conference pitcher of the year, Midwest Region Pitcher of the Year and All-American. Most recently, Ally was inducted into the UMSL Sports Hall of Fame in February 2016. Ally continues to coach and instruct, including private pitching lessons to all ages – starting at age 10 and up.
Jamie Corbier
Coach Jamie Corbier has been a part of the softball world in this area for over 15 years. She graduated from O’Fallon Township High School in 2006 after 4 years as a varsity softball starter. She continued her softball career at both Kaskaskia College and McKendree University; while at McKendree, she was named Defensive Player of the Year and Team Captain in 2011. After graduating summa cum laude from McKendree University in 2011, Jamie began her teaching and coaching career at Red Bud High School. She has been a varsity coach for several programs in the area including Red Bud High School and Junior High School (2013-2018), Mascoutah High School (2018-2019), and Belleville East High School (2020-present). In addition to coaching, Jamie has also been a private hitting and defensive instructor since 2015 for numerous players from several area programs including the Tomahawks, the Junior Lancers, and Team Mascoutah.
